Shri Ganesh, a 1991-batch Indian Railway Service of Electrical Engineers (IRSEE) officer, is the Principal Chief Electrical Engineer (PCEE) of Southern Railway, having taken charge in August 2025. He holds vast experience in railway electrification and locomotive engineering, previously serving as the Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) of Chennai Division and Principal Chief Safety Officer.
