Sharadha Thiyagarajan, daughter of K. Thiyagarajan and S. Somalatha, is a talented
eighth-grade student at The Grove School, Chennai. Sharadha is a dedicated and
accomplished Bharatanatyam dancer, training under the esteemed guidance of Acharya
Thirumylai Ramya Prakash, Director of Kalpavriksha Art Academy, Mylapore. Her
guru is the senior-most disciple of Smt. Sharadha Sethuraman, who herself is the seniormost disciple of Padma Vibhushan Dr. Padma Subrahmanyam. Sharadha considers it a
profound honor to be part of this distinguished and illustrious artistic lineage.
MajorMilestones
• As the Significant Milestone, she completed her Arangetram in January 2025
at Rasika Ranjani Sabha.
• The event was graced by eminent guests including Shri Krishnamoorthy, Secretary
of Parthasarathy Swami Sabha, and Dr. Sujatha Mohan, Director of Padmashree
Nrithyalaya.
• Her Arangetram was featured in leading publications such as Dina Thanthi and
Trinity Mirror.
• As a steppingstone in her career progression, she is currently learning Nattuvangam
and the basics of Natyashastra from her Guru.
• She completed her first major milestone Salangai Pooja in 2023 with eminent
demonstration of dance by performing various prominent compositions
