Anghiras Mahadevan is a young mridangam artist who began learning the instrument at the age of four. He started his training under Vidwan Shri S. V. Balakrishna and Vidwan Shri Vinay Nagarajan, and is now learning in the Pudukottai bani under the guidance of  Vidwan Shri Neyveli B. Venkatesh.
