Vaishalee is studied  in MOP Vaishanav backing BA Economics. She is a disciple of Dr.Sujatha Mohan. She has also been learning classical dance since the age of 4. Her basics were grounded under Dr.Padma Subramaniyam before she joined Sujatha Akka. She has completed 3 levels of Prayathnam Exams. She has performed in a few sabhas, and various temples as well as in The Chidambaram Natyanjali Festival.
