Dr. Himanshu Srivastava is an established Bharatanatyam dancer , research scholar and a painting artist based in Delhi. He is a disciple of Dr. Saroja Vaidyanathan, Smt. Kamalini Dutt and has been extending his dance skills under Smt. Rama Vaidyanathan. Graded artiste of Doordarshan , he has received the fellowship from the ministry of Culture India for connecting ancient Indian sculptures with Bharatanatyam.He is also a recepient of various awards and accolades. He has presented both solo and group productions in India and abroad , to name a few, "Venu", " Shikhandi - the inner quest" , "Ras-se-Raskhan", " Aneklavya". His dance draws a lot of inspiration from paintings and vice versa and together he continues to transform one art into the other.
