Dr Bhairavi Vaitheeswaran, Karnatik vocalist and A grade artiste, AIR Chennai, is the granddaughter of Mayavaram Krishna Aiyar, vidvan of yesteryears. She is the founder of Ramrasayan School of Music, India. Graduating with an EEE degree from the College of Engineering, Guindy, she trained in karnatik vocal under Sri and Smt K. R. Kedaranathan, disciples of Semmangudi Srinivasa Aiyar.She has several national and international publications to her credit. She is also the anchor for the radio series titled 'A Selfie with the Supreme' exploring the bhakti-music connection of which her recitals are testimony. She has won accolades from leading sabhas in Chennai including The Music Academy, Thyaga Brahma Gana Sabha and Kartik Fine Arts. Dr Bhairavi mentors 100+ students in karantik music from beginners level to advanced manodharmam techniques and has students across the globe. She trains for harikatha under Guru Smt Vishaka Hari.
