Srividya Sriram is a disciple of Smt Kamakshi Balasubramanyam, a senior disciple of Late Sri Calcutta Krishnamoorthy. She started giving solo performances at the age of 12,under the able guidance of her guru.Srividya has performed widely,at leading venues,both in India and abroad.
 
She is an" A"grade artiste of All India Radio, Chennai and is further strengthening her musical acumen under Shri LN Gurumurthy of Chennai.
 
Srividya is also an accomplished violinist, trained for more than 2 decades under Vidushi Vasantha Kannan of the illustrious Lalgudi gharana. She is also a sought after teacher in Singapore, training a number of students for both vocal and violin
