Started his career as a child artist in the Film ‘NAVAB NARKALI’ at the age of 7 as 10th Son of Shri S V Sahasranamam & Kandhimathi, the first son being Shri Nagesh, thereby, he had the privilege to have made his debut with veterans like Nagesh, Jaishankar, Lakshmi, V S Raghavan, V K Ramasamy, ARS & many others.  Made his stage drama debut with Sai’s SARVAM SARVAR MAYAM (Arudra Fine Arts) as third son of Adede Manohar (Murali Monohar), later invited by the Legend Shri V S Raghavan (INA Theatres)  to act as Junior Srikanth in the play called ‘RAJA VEETU KANNU KUTTY’ written by Shri Vali and made his entry with big stars on the Stage.  The passion for acting continued and he was always a key actor in all children plays conducted by ADYAR VANOLI SIRUVAR SANGAM in RADIO & TV.  ‘Kanden Kanden’  a very hilarious skit by Koothapiran (his father) for children was the first skit performed LIVE on Kanmani poonga in Doordharshan.  He improved his skills by joining INA Theaters (V S Raghavan) and did plays like ‘ENGIRUNTHO VANTHAL’, ‘DHARMA YUDDHAM’, etc.  His talent in acting was noticed and he was offered a very important role in VALI’s INDIA TODAY where he acted as son of MANORAMA, a political satire which created waves those days.  He was showing equal importance to studies also and used to carry his books to outstations and read during train travel which was mentioned by MANORAMA in one of her interviews to Kumudham.  Such a passionate artist was again roped to do a key role with SRIPRIYA in a play called ‘SATTAYAI THEDUM PAMBARANGAL’ by Srikavi where SRIPRIYA did  3 different roles which was a huge hit those days.  Acted as poor college student, a notable role was  in the film ‘IVARGAL VARUNGALA THOONGAL’, a film by VENKAT.  
His passion for drama never gone and he started associating with his father’s troupe KOOTHAPIRAN NAVABHARATH  THEATRES and took complete in charge of directing all the plays written by Koothapiran.   Some of the plays received good response from Tamil Drama Rasikas were :

4)	Subhasya Seekiram
5)	Kasikku Pona Ganapathy.
While at work also, he had the opportunity to conduct annual cultural events for the Company, where he tried his hand in short skits with lot of humour was well appreciated by his colleagues.  This has given confidence and he has made his maiden theatrical social play venture with his play ‘JESTAKUMARRA’.  Later he has written a play titled ‘RUPAI Iruvathi Onnu’ which was performed for Kodai Nataka Vizha.  His latest plays were ‘UNNAL MUDIYUM THATHA’ & ‘ORU ROBOVIN DIARY’ were instant hit on the day of inauguration at Kodai Nataka Vizha.  ‘UNNAL MUDIYUM THATHA’ received best play under special category and got him Best Story Writer Award.

His association with drama (theater) is more than 40 years and has appeared and acted on stage more than 1000 times.  He breathes drama and his passion for DRAMA never ends.
