Samyuktha belongs to the family of legendary violinist Thirukodikaval Krishna Iyer, uncle of Sangeetha Pithamagar Semmangudi Sri Srinivasa Iyer and thus Samyuktha inherits music from her forefathers.   Samyuktha is the great grand daughter of Legendry violinst Semmangudi Narayana Swamy Iyer. Samyuktha's talent was spotted at the age of 3 when she started singing the entire Kalyanavasantham varnam and Begada varnam on just listening to her sister Shwethambari.  Rajagopal's grandmother Mangalam was a violinist.  On passing away of Mangalam, Samyuktha, on her own, expressed her desire to learn violin! Samyuktha joined Western Classical Violin under the guidance of Mr Edward Yen in 2007 at Singapore.  On their Return to India in 2010, Samyuktha started learning Carnatic Music from Swara Raga Sudha, a school, founded by Akkarai Sri Swamynathan and Western Classical from the legend V S Narasimhan. Samyuktha is adept at playing carnatic music in both Carnatic as well as Western tunes.
