Tirupur Krishnan associate with litterateurs. Retirement from journalism has created more time for writing and public speaking. Krishnan has also launched Tiruppur Kumaran Publications, and dreams of starting a literary journal. `I see tremendous growth in modern Tamil literature. I also see that many young writers know more about post-modernism than about their own literary heritage. Believe me, this loss will be felt in time.'' He is a good speaker.
