Dr. Vaani Arivaalan (often referred to as Prof. Vani Arivalan) is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Tamil Language at the University of Madras.

• Academic Background: She holds an M.A. in Tamil, an M.A. in Sociology, a Ph.D. in Tamil, and a Postdoctoral Fellowship (PDF).
